HAARLEM, THE NETHERLANDS, February 1, 2024.
The Netherlands-based indie games publisher Iceberg Interactive and England-based indie games developer Bad Viking, are today very happy and excited to announce that their occult-themed puzzle/adventure game “Strange Horticulture”, is coming to Playstation (PS5 and PS4) via PSN on February 23rd, 2024, at an SRP of $15.99/15.99€.

“Strange Horticulture” originally launched on PC platforms in January 2022, to wide critical acclaim. The game offers a dark and cozy adventure about collecting and cataloging powerful plants. Players can explore the land, pet Hellebore the cat, speak to a coven or join a cult. It is on them to use their ever-growing collection of powerful plants to unravel the town of Undermere’s dark mysteries.

Strange Horticulture boasts an Overwhelmingly Positive review score on Steam, a METACRITIC rating of 83, 8/10 from Nintendo Life, and recommendations from Polygon, RockPaperShotgun, and GameSpew, to name but a few of the hundreds of accolades given to this incredible game. Now the PlayStation community can join in on the occult mysteries of Undermere.

If you haven’t tried this quiet and delightful game yet, this is your cue!

About the game:

WELCOME TO UNDERMERE
Welcome to Undermere, a quaint town surrounded by hag-infested forests and rugged mountains. You are the Horticulturist, owner of the local plant store Strange Horticulture. As a cast of colorful customers come by your shop, you are quickly thrust into an occult mystery stretching back hundreds of years.

THE LANDS BEYOND
Explore the lands beyond your store to find new plants, but be careful! The dark woods and lakes are not always friendly to a simple herbalist. You might discover powers beyond your wildest dreams – or lose your mind completely. Use context clues to determine which places to visit, and which to avoid!

AN EVER-GROWING COLLECTION
Using your trusty encyclopedia and clues found on your explorations, you learn more about the strange plants you come across. By identifying each plant, you will be able to use their effects to influence the story — from hypnotic hallucinogens to powerful poisons.
