The Cracow-based (Poland) indie games publisher Feardemic and Málaga-based (Spain) indie games developer Under the Bed Games, are today very proud and thrilled to announce that their folk horror 2D point-and-click adventure “Tales From Candleforth“, is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores on April 30th, 2024.

It’s no late April Fools’ – the wonderfully-twisted, hand-drawn point & click folk horror adventure game Tales From Candleforth has revealed when exactly it’s going to grace the consoles and PCs of gamers worldwide. This beautiful experience pulled straight from Under The Bed by Feardemic is coming out on April 30th, 2024 but you can already watch the exciting Date Reveal Trailer and add it to your wishlist on GOG, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch!

As the first project from Under the Bed Games studio, Tales from Candleforth has had an amazing reception at gaming events, where it has won several awards such as ‘Best Puzzle Game’ at IndieDevDay 2023, ‘Best Art’ at Gamepolis 2022, or ‘Game of the Year’ at Indie Games Málaga 2023.

Tales from Candleforth is coming to GOG, Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on April 30th, 2024!

About the game:

Tales from Candleforth is a collection of fairy tales that were written on top of a forbidden book many years ago to hide its content. Years later, the dark text is bleeding out and onto the pages of the tales, mixing with them and twisting the stories.
The tale is about to begin…

In this first tale we’ll meet Sarah, a 16 year old girl that’s left alone to run the family apothecary. Sarah’s grandmother went missing a while ago, but one day, she finds clues that she might still be alive. As Sarah discovers new powers that only the women in her family can inherit, she adventures into a world of occultism, mystery and horror to uncover the secrets her family is hiding and discover the part she plays in all of it.

Go along with Sarah on this trip through madness and unravel the mysteries hiding behind the surface of Candleforth. Solve challenging puzzles and interact with a mysterious world to reveal the darkness of this twisted tale.
