The Zürich-based (Switzerland) indie games developer knit’n’purl game studio today announced with great joy and thrill that their cozy hand-painted gardening sim “Pocket Oasis“, is now available for iOS devices worldwide.

Players can cultivate a thriving balcony garden from anywhere they please. Whether you’re waiting for the bus, snuggled up on the sofa, or having a picnic at the park, the tranquility of Pocket Oasis is only a tap away.

Pocket Oasis brings the serene joy of gardening to your mobile device. Design and nurture your balcony haven as you decide which fruit and veggies you’d like to grow whilst collecting a plethora of adorable creatures.The in-game location of your balcony will also impact the weather, hours of sunlight, and conditions of your little patch of paradise, adding another layer of variety to the game.

The iOS launch comes with a refresh of the controls and UI to make sure that the game flawlessly adapts to the interactive touchscreen nature of devices. You will physically tap on the produce of each plant to pick them, adding another layer of immersion to this comforting experience.

There is a large variety of ways in which you can plan out and design your perfect balcony in Pocket Oasis, with 36 different plants ranging from berries to roses. You’ll be responsible for catering to each of their unique needs, whilst also decorating your balcony and turning a profit by transforming your produce into jam. As you expand your garden, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase adorable wildlife – from domestic cats to chameleons.

Hand-painted by the talented Ioana Mihai, Pocket Oasis’ unique and refreshing art style extends beyond the confines of your balcony to represent stunning cityscapes of Zurich, Rome, and Paris.

Pocket Oasis will be free for players to download on the iOS app store, allowing anyone to play through the beginning of the game and get a feel for starting their own balcony garden. Then, to upgrade to the full version, players will be able to pay a one-off price of 2.99 GBP/USD/EURO – with no additional microtransactions.
