Heidelberg, Germany – November 7th, 2024.
The Heidleberg-based (Germany) indie games developer LAB132 are today very proud and happy to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their competitive sci-fi speedrunning 3D platformer “ASTRAL TRACKS“, is coming to PC via Steam on november 21st 2024.

Leap across dangerous gaps, swing between platforms like Spider-Man, run on walls, and more, as you use a toolbox of dynamic skills to compete for the best times while unlocking eccentric accessories for your character to wear.

Refine your runs on procedurally generated tracks constructed from hand-made chunks as you try to shave seconds off your times to defeat friends, family or enemies and climb the leaderboards. Alternatively, embrace Astral Tracks’ meditative side and find yourself entering a relaxing flow-state as you glide through the tracks.

Your progress through the game will be rewarded with unlockable costumes and accessories that can be purchased with in-game currency (there are no microtransactions), including diving fins, plungers, balloon animals, silly hats, baked goods and tutus, adding an outlandish splash of fun to the game’s interdimensional sci-fi aesthetics.

With the 1.0 release, a host of new features and improvements will be added to the game, including daily, weekly and monthly challenges to increase the level of competition and bring people together on the tracks, a whole new stage with new track segments, new accessories for customisation and more tracks, to name a few of the additions.

“We’re really looking forward to releasing the full version of Astral Tracks on November 21st,” said LAB132 co-founder Laura Körting. “The time Astral Tracks has spent in Early Access has really helped us to refine the game and improve every aspect and we let everyone loose in the best version of the game yet and see what they can do on the leaderboards.”
