The Bordeaux-based (France) indie games publisher Shiro Unlimited and indie games developer Shiro Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that they are going to release the “The Skelmar Invasion” DLC for their open-world tactical RPG “Wartales”, for PC via Steam on December 10th, 2024.

Furthermore, Shiro Unlimited and Shiro Games has also just announced that “Wartales” has now sold over 1 million units since its release.

The DLC will be accompanied by a free update for the base game, adding a number of highly requested new features.

Lead the way to Ormance, a war-scarred land now occupied by the fearsome and battle-tested Skelmar. Organize calculated attacks to liberate thoroughly fortified baronies and recruit local rebel forces. Rebuild settlements ravaged by years of raids and bloodshed to unlock new progression options for everyone in the warband.

Bolster the resistance with the finest weapons and armor, then lead them into epic siege battles against well-guarded strongholds at the heart of each barony. Beware, warriors will come under deadly fire from new crossbow-wielding enemies in every faction thanks to Wartales’ concurrent free update arriving alongside The Skelmar Invasion.

The Skelmar Invasion launches Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, on PC via Steam and GOG for $19.99/€19.99/£16.99 with a two-week launch discount of 10% off. Additionally, new Wartales players will be able to pick up the base game and The Skelmar Invasion in a specially priced bundle for $33.50.
