2P Games and Double Cross Studio are today very proud and happy to announce that their resource management card title, Sultan’s Game, has been granted the Grand Prize Award at the Indie Live Expo 2025.

This event, which aims to increase player awareness with regard to indie games. Sultan’s Game, released in March, 2025, has received since its release several content updates that have added a new character, new storylines, and an improved multilingual localization. Players can already buy the game on Steam.

ABOUT SULTAN’S GAME

Sultan’s Game blends card mechanics, strategy, and resource management with a dark, narrative-driven story. Players are forced to play the Sultan’s twisted cards (Carnality, Extravagance, Conquest, and Bloodshed) to satisfy his cruel desires. Morality is never questioned: will you lose yourself in a world where lust and bloodshed intertwine, or try to seize your own fate from beneath the Sultan’s blade?

You have seven days to fulfill the demands of each card—or face execution. In a world of betrayal, power struggles, and madness, survival is never guaranteed. To escape alive, you’ll need to make impossible decisions along the way.

ABOUT DOUBLE CROSS STUDIO
Double Cross is a small game development team based in Hangzhou, China. The team is led by two developers, a producer and a head writer, both of whom have rich backgrounds in translation and novel writing, and extensive experience in mobile game development. This creator-centred team, with ambitious storytelling goals, decided to shift to single-player platforms to create projects with fewer content restrictions, greater freedom, and more artistic narrative. Sultan’s Game is the first single-player project and a bold experiment.
