Press release:
Los Angeles – June 3, 2026 – Acclaim, Inc. and Nigerian indie studio Fer Factor are thrilled to announce Tossdown’s participation in the Black Voices in Gaming Summer Game Fest Showcase. The annual event – now in its seventh year – aims to spotlight new games, exciting updates, and demos from black creators from around the world.
“As a solo developer of color from Nigeria, where the game development industry is still emerging and opportunities to showcase our work internationally can be limited,” said Fer Factor founder Feranmi Oladosu.
“Being part of Black Voices in Gaming Summer Showcase means a lot to me because it shines a spotlight on creators from underrepresented backgrounds and gives us a platform to share our stories, perspectives, and games with a global audience.”
“Tossdown is pure controlled chaos. Fer has built something that feels fast, fresh, and unlike anything else in the market today”, stated Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Director of Publishing & Strategic Partnerships at Acclaim Inc
“From its explosive movement to its over-the-top action, every second feels like you’re one bad decision away from disaster. We’re excited to help bring this incredible project from Nigeria to players around the world and can’t wait for everyone to experience the mayhem for themselves.”
The Black Voices in Gaming Summer Game Fest trailer offers an explosive look at Tossdown’s high-energy action. Watch as our courageous courier dashes, crashes, and smashes through an array of varied biomes in a city teeming with deadly hazards. The trailer also offers a brief glimpse at one of Tossdown’s towering bosses that you’ll have to battle. Will you make your deliveries on time or be stamped “return to sender”?
“It’s incredibly inspiring to be part of such a special event alongside so many talented creators of color, Oladosu continued.
“I’m especially excited for players to get a closer look at Tossdown through the latest trailer, it’s a glimpse into the passion and creativity driving the project and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
