Press release:
6th August 2026 – London, UK – Rennes-based studio WILD WITS and publisher Curve Games have today launched medieval fantasy round-table RPG Sovereign Tower on PC, which will be available from 5pm BST. Ascending the throne as the Sovereign, players will need to balance the egos of eccentric knights, the ever increasing demands of their court, and a kingdom equally primed for greatness or total devastation.
Ruling a kingdom rife with deficiencies and dilemmas, players, as Sovereign of the Tower, will need to recruit a cadre of questionably heroic Knights to fulfil quests. Each Knight has their own strengths and weaknesses. They will send their best suited Knights on valiant quests to recover lost relics, banish great evil and… wrangle stray geese. Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic, and Wit, each quest requires a different set of skills, and sending the wrong Knight could offend them so badly they leave your round table for good, or worse – you send them to their untimely death….
Over the course of each day, the players will be met with a wide range of grievances that plague the realm. Balancing their affinity with the people, the nobles and even other rulers, each decision players make will carve out the future of their kingdom and ensure a successful(?) reign. But, what is a Sovereign without their loyal subjects? Players can hire a blacksmith or a groom to assist their Knights on their epically unheroic quests.
And, when players inevitably royally mess up in one way or another? Simply ask the Demon lurking in the crypts to rewind to a specific moment in time – maybe a beloved Knight’s death? A poor lapse in judgement? The Demon allows players to restart using their newfound knowledge to unlock new paths, storylines and dialogue options. Rewrite fate time and time (and time) again and discover everything Sovereign Tower has to offer.
Gobert, Creative and Art Director, WILD WITS said: “We are thrilled to finally welcome players to Sovereign Tower as it launches today. The community support has been beyond our wildest dreams, and we are so excited to see what players think of the new Knights, quests, and secrets that lie within the tower’s walls.”
Rich Keen, VP of Publishing, Curve Games said: “In Sovereign Tower, Wild Wits have forged a royal feast of chaos, with its lovingly imagined world, delightfully unhinged cast, and wit sharper than a knight’s blade. It’s a kingdom we pledged our allegiance to from the moment we first crossed its gates. We can’t wait to see budding sovereigns lay claim to it for themselves.”
