Press release:
Bucharest, Romania, August 20, 2026 – Prepare to unsheath your katana and paint the town red. Mexican Ninja, the unapologetically fast, chaotic, and brutal 2.5D beat-’em-up from developer Madbricks and publisher Amber, is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Mexican Ninja is Steam Deck Verified, offering a seamless experience when hacking and slashing through armies of Narkuza on the handheld. Players who purchase Mexican Ninja during the first two weeks on Steam will receive a 30% launch discount.
To celebrate Mexican Ninja’s launch, Amber has released a launch trailer showcasing the adrenaline-soaked combo-based combat, explosive Mexican Jutsu Abilities players can master, and spectacular boss battles. Check it out below.
Welcome to Nuevo Tokyo, a mash-up of Mexico and Japan ruled over by the Narkuzas, a ruthless syndicate formed by the Narcos and Yakuza.
They are now the law, and the law sucks culo.
Now, players must don the sombrero of a deadly resistance fighter and set off on a bloody mission to end the cartel’s reign by eliminating the heads of its clans.
Mexican Ninja’s design philosophy centers on fast-paced, satisfying, skill-based combat, irreverent humor, and endless style and swagger. Born from developer Madbricks’ love for the button-mashing action of the classic beat-’em-ups of the arcade era, it builds upon that nostalgic foundation by offering endless replayability, with randomized stages, builds, and Jutsu Abilities to make no two runs feel the same.
Every area in Mexican Ninja is capped off with a battle against one of the Narkuza lords. These deadly duels will test your samurai skills and your reflexes as you clash steel with a colorful cast of cartel killers. However, players can level the playing field by training with El Mero Mero Sensei to gain the favor of Mexican and Japanese spirits and expand their repertoire of deadly ninja abilities.
