Press release:
Friday 4th September 2026, Cardiff, UK – Cloth Cat Games and Curveball Games have today announced that 1-4 player multiplayer arena party game Planted! will launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on 29th October 2026. Offering up an assortment of vegetable based chaos, Planted! sees players face off against their friends (and foes) in gardening arena combat, where they’ll clash over perfectly produced produce – sowing, growing, and throwing their way to victory.
The newest trailer showcases more of the chaotic gardening gameplay on offer next month – from climbing mountainsides and spelunking through caverns to treacherous island hopping, and a farmyard that is filled with 100% totally organic human …clones. Each multiplayer arena in Planted! provides players with unique and increasingly challenging environments to overcome as they battle their way to victory. And, for those who prefer the more solitary (but still competitive) world of combat gardening, Planted!’s single player campaign offers a chance to hone their horticultural aptitude.
To give budding gardeners a chance to get an extended look at Planted!, a brand new demo, is now available on steam, allowing players to take on the recently revealed Volcano stage, where they will tangle with an insatiable volcano spirit, moving platforms, and fireballs; and the Construction Site – a dynamic dash up a skyscraper, with cement mixer canons, split levels, and pesky goal blocking steelwork.
Ben Cawthorne, Creative Producer, Cloth Cat Games said: “We’re super excited to share that Planted! will be launching next month! We hope players are ready to dive into the cutthroat world of competitive gardening as they take on their friends – and we can’t wait to see how they grapple with the ridiculous nature of the setting and challenges that await”
Ed Gregory, Senior Publishing Manager, Curveball Games, Said: “We have seen such an incredible reception for Planted! from the community – we love seeing how much fun players have stealing each other’s produce as they fling it across the map – and we can’t wait to see the reception to even more of the multiplayer arenas – including the Volcano and Construction locations!”
