Press release:
London, 17th September 2026 – Experience an entirely new twist on the hidden object genre, developed by a team of former Grand Theft Auto talent including Creative Manager Gary Penn!

PQube and developer Denki today released their wholesome 3D hidden object game, Sniper Dan, digitally on PC (via Steam®), PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2 and Nintendo Switch™, alongside a physical PlayStation® 5 version, Sniper Dan: Hotshot Edition. The Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the game, available as a standalone purchase or as a free upgrade for owners of the Nintendo Switch™ version, also introduces a new way to play, with Joy-Con 2 Mouse support providing more immersive controls.

To celebrate, a brand-new Launch Trailer was released giving players a glimpse of what they can expect during their time in Clumsy County!

In Sniper Dan, players aren’t hunting enemies, they’re hunting problems. Armed with a trusty sniper rifle, they will travel across six lively locations, from peaceful parks to bustling airports, taking on jobs to help the residents of Clumsy County. On each job, players must decipher clues, scope out the scene, spot the problem and shoot the solution with pinpoint accuracy. From fixing rusty taps, shearing sheep, or even stopping a thieving pelican, every job is a tiny mystery packed with delightful comical moments.

“We had such a good time making Sniper Dan, giggling to ourselves like kids as we imagined how the people we knew would react to the ridiculousness. We like to think that shines through,” said Gary Penn, Creative Director at Denki.

“We’re super happy to bring some much-needed silliness into an overserious world. Sniper Dan is deliberately superdumb fun for all the family – especially backseat players who can sometimes see what the driver does not. Hopefully Sniper Dan can give relief to anyone who woke up today with a burning itch to misuse a lethal weapon to do something benevolent for a change.”

Between jobs, players can use their earnings to purchase new décor for their office, upgrade their sniper rifle, take on additional game modes, and enjoy a variety of mini games. Whether completing jobs, uncovering secrets or aiming for a high score, there’s always something new to discover in Clumsy County.

PQube also revealed that players that purchase Sniper Dan on Steam within the first two weeks from launch will receive a 20% discount.
