Bilbao, Spain – February 28th 2017: The much anticipated 2D fighting game from Kaia Studios, Dynasty Feud, will launch an Open Beta to all players from Friday 10th March to Sunday 9th April 2017 on PC. With new content planned to be introduced over the course of the 4 weeks, players will get the chance to experience first-hand four of the eight warring families, each with their own unique fighting style and weapons. At last, you can answer that age old question – what is mightier, a Samurai sword or Viking battle-axe?

About the game:
A multi-player party brawler, Dynasty Feud is a 2D fighting game that pits unique teams of characters against each other in a series of pulse-racing rounds. With up to eight different families battling it out across sprawling dynamic maps at once, the action is fast, hectic as players try to outwit each other in frantic battles. With a host of different characters and abilities, no two games are ever the same, meaning re-playability is sky high.

Features (upon release):
– 8 different dynasties from a different period in history, including Cowboys, Cavemen and Aztecs.
– 40 playable characters, each with their own unique abilities.
– Local or online death matches featuring up to 4 players at once.
– Dynamic levels containing triggers and traps that can influence gameplay.

OPEN BETA Content schedule:

Content available to beta testers will change weekly, and will consists of 2 playable dynasties and their corresponding level. The scheduled content is as follows.

Week 1 (March 10th): The Cartwrongs Dynasty and Clan Yngling Dynasty

Week 2 (March 17th): Clan Yngling Dynasty and The Crew of The Fancier Dynasty

Week 3 (March 24th): The Crew of The Fancier Dynasty and Nekoyama-shi Dynasty

Week 4 (March 31st): Nekoyama-shi Dynasty and The Cartwrongs Dynasty

At the end of every week, the best players will be ranked on a leaderboard, with the results broadcasted on Dynasty Feud’s social media platforms and website. Each round’s top players will win a copy of the game. More prizes coming soon!

Established in 2015, Kaia Studios is an independent games developer based in Bilabo, Spain. Consisting of four former students from the DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe – Bilbao and a Fine Art student from the University of Basque Country, the team is focused on creating video game experiences to the highest possible quality. Dynasty Feud is the company’s first planned release.
