The two installments of the series could be found either separately on Nintendo eShop or together with the Arcane Edition special bundle.
Press release:
Madrid, Spain, June 29th, 2018: Ten days after its debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the long-awaited sequel to indie jewel Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles is finally available for Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Switch users are in luck, because along with The Nameless Chronicles, the first instalment of the series is also available on Nintendo eShop. And if you want to get both titles, you’ll also find the Arcane Edition on the eShop, which joins the two games in an awesome bundle.
Anima Project have put special emphasis on making the versions of both games identical to the original ones; they have spent more time and effort until both games maintain a stable rate of 60 frames per second.
The Nameless Chronicles takes us back to the events that gave birth to the first Anima, but from the standpoint of the enemy side. We will put ourselves in the role of The Nameless, an immortal who has been assuming different identities throughout history, and his quest to find a meaning to his eternal existence. In The Nameless Chronicles we will accompany him on a journey in which his past lives will be interwoven with a war in the s
Like Anima: Gate of Memories, this new installment is an Action RPG packed with spectacular attacks and memorable bosses, which mixes elements inherited from traditional table top RPG with a gameplay reminiscent of hack & slash classics like Devil May Cry and Nier: Automata. Action, exploration and evolution of the character through experience points are some of the mechanics included in its gameplay.
If you haven’t already had the chance to enter the world of Anima, Anima: Arcane Edition, which includes both installments in a single bundle, is also on sale in addition to The Nameless Chronicles. If you hadn’t had the chance to enjoy the beginning of the series in the formats it originally came out in, now with Nintendo Switch you have no excuse.
To commemorate the release of the new title from Anima Project we have created a launch trailer that will refresh the memories of the fans of the saga and will certainly whet the appetite of all those who have not yet been introduced to the Anima universe.
The two installments of Anima: Gate of Memories are completely independent of adventures, although there will be no shortage of elements, characters and winks that only those who play both installments of the saga will recognize.
With an epic soundtrack created by Sonotrigger Studios and stunning visuals that, like on the first installment, blends cel-shading graphics with realistic 3D environments, The Nameless Chronicles has it all to become the Action RPG indie game of the year.
