SEATTLE – March 13, 2019 – Materia Collective is excited to release the Bloody Trapland 2 (Original Game Soundtrack) by composer Fredrik Häthén. In this challenging multiplayer platformer, players must overcome fiendish puzzles and great odds to win the day.

Häthén’s riveting score combines world music with funky electronics and retro elements reminiscent of the Donkey Kong Country series.

“For Bloody Trapland 2, my mission was to convey that feeling of being on a fun adventure while keeping in mind the characteristics of each world,” explains composer Fredrik Häthén.

“To that end, I tried my best never to stay in one particular genre for too long, opting instead to switch up the instrumentation and feel
as often as I could. The end result is an eclectic mix of styles, beats, instruments and general oddness, all of which I am very proud of.”

About Fredrik Häthén
Fredrik Häthén is a Swedish composer, arranger, musician and all-round lover of videogame soundtracks, a passion that began when he flipped the on switch on his SNES and heard the whale cry from Secret of Mana and is still just as strong to this day.

Fredrik has composed music for several indie games, penned music for various live performances, scored short films and commercials, arranged several videogame music tracks in many different genres and performed music on his alto and tenor saxophones.

When he isn’t surrounded by sheet music, copious amounts of coffee and too much chocolate for his own good, Fredrik enjoys playing punishingly difficult games together with his wife, cooking delicious food and trying his best to just generally enjoy life.
