New additions for FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered include:
– Battle Assist and No Encounter Boosters – The ability to always have maxed out HP and ATB, and trigger Limit Breaks at any time, and the option to allow players to enjoy the storyline uninterrupted with no random encounters.
– 3x Speed Boost – Play through the game with three times the speed, both in the game world and also during battle.
– Newly-Rendered Visuals – Breathe new life into the game’s characters like never before with updated character models for all your favourite heroes and villains.
– New Console-Specific Features – Uncover every secret within the game with updated Trophy and Achievement support across the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices and STEAM®. Alternatively, take the game on the go with full Handheld Mode functionality on the Nintendo Switch™ system.
