Legrand Legacy: Tale of Fatebound is packed with full of nostalgia and brings the unique flavor of 90s JRPGs by games such as Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden, or the Shadow Hearts series.

It brings the PlayStation era RPGs to 2018 with an attention to detail that brings the genre to modern consoles and satisfies that nostalgic itch – Dualshockers (Azario Lopez).

Developer Semisoft promised a PlayStation 2-style JRPG and, for better or for worse, it sure does feel like one – Destructoid (Rich Meister).

It’s impossible to not be charmed by Legrand’s beauty. Its hand-drawn backgrounds are stunningly made […] even something as barren and lifeless as a desert is given this captivating artistic style reminiscent of Ralph McQuarrie’s timeless work in science-fiction – Nintendo Life (Dom Reseigh-Lincoln).

I can’t give enough praise to how well Legrand Legacy does with its overall attempt to mimic classic console RPG’s from that era, and it’s easily the biggest selling point here […] generally not represented on consoles or PC’s nowadays – Gaming Age (Dustin Chadwell).
