Chongqing, China, August 13, 2020 — Independent developer Pathea Games, the studio behind the award-winning sandbox RPG “My Time at Portia”, has announced today that its imaginative puzzle platform adventure game, “Ever Forward“, is out now on PC via Steam for $14.99.

The title, which has players unlock the mysteries hidden within a twelve-year-old girl’s subconscious, will be discounted 10% during its debut week.

Those who purchase the game during its first week on Steam will be given the title’s OST, two bonus puzzles no additional charge. The OST will be sold separately for $11.99 after this period, and the bonus puzzles will not be available for purchase soon after this time. Curious fans can try the game for free via a demo.

“Our team has paid careful attention to all the feedback we’ve received since we’ve launched Ever Forward’s demo,” says Bin Yang, Director of Ever Forward.

As Maya, players in Ever Forward will cross two vastly different realities: one filled with idyllic, pastel-colored fields and charming coastal retreats, the other home to all manner of formidable geometric traps and riddles. The secrets stored deep within Maya’s heart will gradually be revealed as fans collect memory fragments, unearth new puzzles, and conquer the girl’s fears.

Puzzles
For more than three years, Ever Forward’s designers racked their brains, creating puzzles with the “puzzle gamer” in mind. Players will feel deeply challenged and motivated to solve each puzzle, and some puzzles have multiple solutions that cater to different kinds of thinkers.

The Art
A color pallet of soothing pastels and futuristic tones designed to simulate the absurd nature of the dream world.

Adventure
Players can collect memory fragments to unlock new areas and new puzzles.

Mechanics
Mechanics range from simple movements like jumping to teleportation and gravity control. In many cases, the player must use stealth and observational skills to navigate each puzzle.

Ever Forward is out now on PC via Steam for $14.99. A free demo is also available. The title will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in late winter.
