The Indonesian indie games developer Mojiken and Indie games publisher Chorus Worldwide (the Team behind cult hits Coffee Talk and A Raven Monologue) are today very proud and happy to announce that their whimsical point-and-click puzzle game “When the Past was Around” is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop.

Mojiken and Chorus Worldwide has also just announced that “When the Past was Around” will also be released on the PlayStation Store tomorrow and the Microsoft Store on the 18th for $8.49 / €8.49 / £7.09. Note: There may be a slight difference in the PS price as this is still unconfirmed at this time, but it won’t be by much.

When the Past was Around invites players to gather clues, solve puzzles and unravel secrets buried deep within the protagonist’s mind. Haunting violin music replaces the written word as gamers delve into Eda’s world, retracing memories of her love, from the first moments of happiness in a new relationship, through dates and fun adventures, to heart-wrenching moments of sorrow and the search for a new future.

When the Past was Around won the coveted Best Game Award at this year’s Gamescom Indie Arena Booth. The original music, composed by Masdito “ittou” Bachtiar, also won Best Audio at this year’s Taipei Game Show Indie Game Award.
