The US-based indie games publisher/developer The Retro Room (creator of “Quest Arrest”, and publisher of “Chip’s Challenge” 2021 SNES/MD re-release) are today very happy and proud to announce that their retro adventure/platformer “Gelatinous: Humanity Lost” is now fully funded on Kickstarter.

Thanks to the support of 451 backers, indie game publisher Retro Room Games who teamed up with freshman game designer Steven Long, reached the goal of $30,611 to fully fund the production and development of Gelatinous: Humanity Lost; on Kickstarter.

The finished game will now have 3 additional endings, more passwords, a death counter, a bonus pin and ultimately a color conversion for GBC where the entire game will be colorized and optimized for Game Boy Color.

Gelatinous: Humanity Lost is a brand new adventure platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy with a physical boxed release. It stands on the shoulders of retro classics like Castlevania, Mega Man, and Metroid to bring an all-original sprawling adventure.

In Gelatinous: Humanity Lost, players begin with nothing. No attacks. Not even the ability to jump. To survive and progress, they must solve the temple maze, discover ancient secrets, and unlock the powers of their gelatinous form.
