Press release:
13 November 2021.
The US-based indie games publisher Armor Games Studio and Canada-based indie games developer today announced with great pride and excitement that their joyful narrative adventure game “The Spirit and the Mouse” is in the making for PC, as revialed at the Wholesome Snack 2021 event (you can wishlist the game via Steam right now if you want to).
Publisher Armor Games Studio and developer Alblune are excited to announce their joyful narrative adventure game The Spirit and the Mouse, at today’s Wholesome Snack event.
Announced during the showcase with a never-before seen gameplay trailer, The Spirit and the Mouse sets out to prove that big acts of kindness can come from the most unassuming of places.
Players will take on the role of the clever and caring Lila the mouse as she sets off on a mission to solve the everyday issues plaguing the villagers of a quaint French hamlet. Along the way, Lila will meet the spirit guardian Lumion, develop useful electricity powers to use in her quest and befriend the mischievous electric spirits known as Kibblins.
There are no big bosses to tackle in The Spirit and the Mouse, and no impending apocalypse. Just a community of down-on-their-luck villagers and a little mouse with a big heart.
Alexandre Stroukoff and Lucie Lescuyer, who together make up Alblune, said, “We are very excited to be working with Armor Games Studio! They have a strong portfolio of indie games that we are proud to be part of, and thanks to their experience, we will be able to deliver the best game we can for as many people as possible!”
The Spirit and the Mouse is announced on PC with a targeted release of late 2022. Interested players can add the game to their Wishlist on Steam now.
