Press release:
RedDeerGames together with Kenny Sun released are today very happy and excited to announce that their circular platformer “Circa Infinity” is now available for Xbox Series X/S/One via the Microsoft store and the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop.
It will cause your brain to melt, so act like you’ve been warned! We do not accept any blame further from now. If you feel like some warm goo comes out of your ears, it’s all your fault. Ok? After all, you are the one who wanted to play! 😉
Now you know the risks, but why should you take it? Cos’s super fresh, well designed and innovative! Don’t trust my words, though. Instead, have a look at what some acknowledged professionals had to say when they tested Circa Infinity after it was released on Steam, where it gathered 93% positive reviews!
“Brilliant level design and a great aesthetic keep the game fresh from start to finish.”
9/10 – Destructoid
“A perfectly balanced mix of chaos and enjoyment, Circa Infinity is a must buy”
– Pocket Gamer
“An addictive, demanding, visually hypnotic game”
– IGN Espania
“MY BRAIN IS MELTING!”
– Pewdiepie
About the game
The easiest way to understand what Circa Infinity really is about is to watch (and listen to) the above trailer. Your task is (kinda) simple, reach the core of each level by slipping through a series of circular layers. Time your jumps carefully to avoid the creatures that reside within the circles and reach the next layer. As you go deeper, the action gets faster and more challenging!
Think of Circa infinity as a live music video, with challenging action and psychedelic graphics! Hypnotic visuals and a pumping soundtrack (by Jack + Jim Fay) will turn up the already intense gameplay experience. 50 stages of mind-bending action are waiting for you, with 5 bosses that will test your nerves. You can also test yourself in speedrun mode. Can you keep up?
“I like the idea that games can sometimes be music videos, especially when they’re as striking and well-soundtracked as Circa Infinity.”
– Tom Senior, PC Gamer
Circa Infinity is available now on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X consoles, with a hefty launch discount. If you’d like to test out our game on a different platform or in a different region, please reply to this email at [email protected], so I could send you the right code.
About the developer
Kenny Sun is a single-man studio under the same credentials. He started making games early in high school, playing around with Flash and uploading projects to places like Newgrounds and Kongregate.
After a couple of years of making a few cool little games, he kind of lost interest in it and moved on to other sorts of side projects. Luckily, he took game design courses at NYU, which rekindled his enthusiasm for the medium. That’s when he came up with the idea for Circa Infinity, which shortly became a success, accumulating high review scores all around the world.
