Joining guilds can have a very positive impact on your Burning Crusade experience.
Players are finally ready to delve into what The Burning Crusade has to show, and one of the earliest points of interest is guilds. Whilst you’ll be getting used to finding the best places to get WoW TBC gold and going through the TBC power leveling grind, you’re also bound to be searching for ways to join or form a guild.
Forming a Guild
Prior to setting out on our journey for those desired TBC items and gaining riches with our TBC gold, we first need to know how to form a guild of our own. Your gold will come in to play here, as you will need to buy a Guild Charter. Don’t worry about looking for somewhere to buy TBC gold, as there is a mere cost of 10 silver. These Guild Charters can be found in the respective capital cities of the Alliance and Horde. There won’t be much use going to buy WoW TBC accounts here either just as a sidenote, unless you really want to avoid the grinding that’s ahead of you.
Once you have received your charter, you then need to head out and find 10 signatures from other players that you want to join you. This is a great way to experience the game with your friends, or even make some new ones in the process. With 10 signatures ready, your guild can then be formed. As you create your guild, there will no longer be the 10-player limit attached to it, and anyone can leave as they place without disrupting the guild’s formation.
Joining a Guild
If you want to join an already established guild, you will first have to find yourself a Guild Charter that is looking for players to join. The method in which you have to present yourself as someone who wants to join up with an available guild can seem tricky.
To do so, we are going to need to rely on social techniques. For example, a good way to join a guild is to simply chat to people who are in the game. This presents you with a good opportunity to advertise yourself as a player who is willing to join up with a guild to better their cause. Or you could try the global chat, where you can put a message out that you’re looking for a guild to join.
Perhaps the most basic method would be to ask your friends who are already playing the game. They may have a guild already for you to join, meaning you can share this core experience with your peers and see what The Burning Crusade really has to offer.
Leaving a Guild
Not everyone is keen on joining up with guilds. After all, there is a rich solo experience that you can get out of playing The Burning Crusade. It is the age-old argument of whether a game is a better experience alone or with friends. If you decide that you would like to have a go at the former approach, then there is an easy way in which you can leave a guild.
It is probably worth noting that it may not be well received by your guild if you do wish to leave. Even so, the method of doing it isn’t going to be hard for you to do. In fact, all you need to do is put in a command into the chat bar. The command itself is ‘/gquit’, after which you will be removed from the guild automatically. With this process now completed, you will be able to move on and potentially join another guild if that’s what you wish to do.
There are many different reasons as to why you would want to join a guild. Whether you are going for PvE or PvP content, there are many benefits for you to link up with other players in such a manner. It will help you get through activities much easier if you are feeling the grind of the TBC power leveling, and as you can see it isn’t exactly difficult to do. It may take a bit of time for you to find the right one, but the method itself is simple without needing to use LFG websites and such.
That said, you do need to be prepared that it might not work out for you when you do join the guild. There may be a difference of opinion on what the goals of the guild should be, or they may simply not get along with you. Regardless, the solution above is a simple enough one for you to use to get out of a guild if you choose to.
