MANCHESTER, JANUARY 25 2022.
The Manchester-based (the UK) indie games publisher No More Robots and London-based (the UK) indie games developer PanicBarn, today announced with great delight and thrill that their political-themed adventure/sim/RPG “Not Tonight 2” is coming to PC via Steam on February 11th, 2022.

“We don’t make political video games!” screamed the entire AAA video game industry in unison, while making games about the downfall of governments, clashes with religious cults, and sweeping political themes.

But who said video games can’t be political anyway? Not Tonight 2, the most political game ever made, is coming to Steam on February 11 from dev studio PanicBarn and publishing label No More Robots (Descenders, Yes, Your Grace, Hypnospace Outlaw).

Following in the footsteps of the original Not Tonight (a post-Brexit adventure that has so far been played by over 400,000 people), Not Tonight 2 takes players on a road-trip across a broken America, during which you’ll discover such delights as:

– New York under water (climate change is a myth!)
– A rolling, mechanic wall on the border of Mexico
– Religious cults and terrifying conglomerates
– A Canadian-annexed Montana (free poutine for all!)
– Mount Rushmore taken over by medieval LARPers
– Factories pumping livestock full of steroids, yum yum

Not Tonight 2 explores an alternative, defective America, where capitalism and political greed have taken center stage, and democracy is a thing of the past. Written and brought to life by a team of POC writers and artists, this U.S. road trip explores every festering orifice of this Land of Liberty.

A variety of politically-driven , sometimes quite silly minigames help this road trip take form. Check your guests follow the correct religion, then join a cult, tap along to rhythm games, make sure the Colonel’s chickens have enough steroids pumped into them, serve your fellow Canadians with free poutine, work a day or two on the Texan wall…

Not Tonight 2 intertwines the lives of Malik, Kevin and Mari, as they race across the land of the free, on a mission to save their friend Eduardo from being deported (or worse) by the fascist Martyrs regime.
