***UPDATE 3 – 2015-12-04 – 16:12 CET***
I´m not going to speculate or line up any conspiracy theories as of now (as it could, in fact, damage the police investigation). However, I got quite worried when I found out that American McGee´s sister (Mercy Covington) has been missing since November the 10th (that´s about 24 days now). Because when I read through McGee´s Facebook post on the matter, there was one part of the text that stood out from the rest. And that would be this part:
“One disturbing bit of evidence is an anti-Gamergate death threat made against me by an individual living in Dallas who mentions Mercy by name. While it’s not unusual for me to receive death threats, it’s never been the case that one contains the names and location of family members.” – American McGee
Please allow me to explain. You see, back in April this year McGee received death threats from an Anti #GamerGate psychopath (you can read about those past events further down the page). And if you have read through McGee´s FB post about his sister’s mysterious disappearance. Then you’re probably having the same thoughts as I´m having right now. So if you know anything about Mercy Covington´s disappearance. Then please contact either the Dallas Police Department or American McGee as soon as possible.
Our prayers and thoughts go to Mercy Covington, McGee and his family.

***UPDATE 2 – 2015-04-30***
American McGee made another interesting statement earlier today, a really important and thoughtful statement as well. And I have to say that I agree with McGee in this one. However, the question still remains. What will it take for us (Gamers) to reach that goal? Maybe a debate between Milo Yiannopoulos and Sarkeesian would be the answer? (or, at least a good start?).

***UPDATE 1 – 2015-04-30***
American McGee has just commented on the question if his an anti-GamerGate or pro-GamerGate supporter.
In other words, McGee has the same stand on GG as I have (Robin). However, I highly doubt that the anti-GamerGate people will care all that much about this. As they already see McGee as a pro-GamerGate supporter anyhow. I also wonder whether anti-GamerGate will be labeled as a “hate group” or not now?
———————————————
Last night American McGee (Doom, Quake, Alice) shared an article on his Facebook page commenting on the possibility of a debate between Anita Sarkeesian and Milo Yiannopoulos, shortly he received a barrage of death threats and was accused of being “pro gamergate”
It seems like the GamerGate opposition is getting more aggressive, we have found no records of McGee ever declaring himself pro or anti GamerGate and still he received death threats, yesterday a user on twitter suggested that some people in GamerGate should be killed in order to get things better, and a big GamerGate critic admitted that he got into this to “bloody his knuckles” on nerds.
Now the question is if the rest of the gaming media will report on this, since it goes against the story reported so far that #GamerGate is a hate movement and actually points to the opposite.
