A seriously stupid man in Texas is now in police custody after he used Facebook to threaten a local community of “Pokémon GO” players. The 29-year-old Mexican man named, Nathan Cerda posted that he planned to “Purge” anyone attending Pokémon GO events or walking around to collect Pokemon or items. In the report, police stated that Cerda planned to use several modified paintball guns to shoot at people searching for Pokémon. In his genius grammatical eloquence, Cerda wrote:
“Warning……all u Pokemon Go people tomorrow me and some friends are taking out our modified paintball guns and we gonna purge. And I know you stupid people are walking all over the place looking at the phone trying to find these Pokemon. Tomorrow we are going to be everywhere so be aware of your surroundings.” – Nathan Cerda, via Facebook
Cerda also mentioned his sister would be joining them before liking his own comment in his extensive genius. After the comment was reported, the Harlington police opened a criminal investigation, and issued an arrest warrant on the charge of making a terroistic threat…But wait—there’s more! Cerda has been in trouble with the law before, and it’s worse than you think. Cerda is currently a registered sex offender in Texas, specifically on the charge of sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl. After being arrested, Cerda is now awaiting to appear in front of a judge to face the terror charge.
