The Singapore-based indie games publisher Spiral Up Games and indie games developer Metal Head Games, are today super excited and happy to announce that they have just released a time-limited demo for their upcoming animal-themed prison survival & escape RPG “Back to the Dawn“! (the said demo is available right now for PC via Steam as a part of the Steam Next Fest event, and the demo will be available until the 10th of July).

“Back to the Dawn” is an intense prison survival and escape RPG that puts players in the shoes of a framed and wrongly incarcerated journalist caught in a dark conspiracy.

Inspired by classic prison-themed shows like Prison Break and Chow Yun-Fatt’s Prison on Fire, Back to the Dawn offers players an intense and unpredictable experience within a maximum-security prison. Players will be immersed in a world of constant surveillance, wary alliances, and intense rivalries as they navigate a variety of areas within the prison, each with its own activities to engage in.

Players must gather their wits and exploit weaknesses to survive and break free. Along the way, they’ll interact with a diverse cast of fellow inmates, deciding whether to befriend or manipulate them in their quest for freedom.

Unique and Replayable Experience: Back to the Dawn offers players flexibility and choice, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same. Every decision made and action taken will have consequences that impact the rest of the game.

Multiple Endings: Embracing the diverse options and routes that players can explore, they can experience numerous endings, ranging from meeting their end in prison, continuing to serve out their life sentence, breaking free from jail, being exonerated, or encountering other interesting outcomes.
