Press release:
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sept. 2, 2022 .
Chromatic Games’ multimillion unit-selling tower defense action RPG Dungeon Defenders series enhances and expands the world of Etheria for the latest entries in the Dungeon Defenders Universe.
“Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue“, the roguelite spin-off, strengthens the defense of Etheria’s crystals in the “Upgraded Update” today via a Steam Early Access patch.
Welcome a new version of a classic Dungeon Defenders hero, Series EV, now known as, “EV-GR”. This latest character addition brings the roster to six Defenders to select from in the battle against swarms of vicious orcs, goblins, and other fiendish foes.
The future of Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue shines as bright as the crystals themselves. More major content updates are planned in the lead-up to v1.0, including new heroes, enemies, maps, gear, difficulties, progression systems, and more (some classic fan favorites and some never-before-seen).
Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue is available now on PC via Steam Early Access at 15% off for $12.74 in English, with additional language support planned leading up to its v1.0 launch.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, the third major entry in the Dungeon Defenders series, will branch out with its second free expansion. “Episode Two Part 1” releases across all existing platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in October, with Nintendo Switch joining the defense in November.
“Episode 2 Part 1” delivers two new maps, including The Bazaar and Lost Metropolis, along with tradeable Runes to enhance specific abilities or defenses to suit any preferred playstyle. The fan-favorite character, Summoner, will be reimagined as “Outcast Summoner” when they re-enter the fray and defend the frontlines. Other quality of life improvements will include player gear trading, as well as an increased level cap with new gear and abilities to master.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam for $29.99 with English language support. More language options are planned for future content updates.
“The Dungeon Defenders Universe is expanding rapidly, and so are our ambitions,” said Augi Lye, CEO of Chromatic Games.
“The community around both of these titles are almost more passionate than us, the people that make the games! We couldn’t ask for a better audience and will continue to deliver on the expectations they have set for us now and in the future. We hope to see some of you at PAX West this weekend!”
