The Vienna-based (Austria) video games publisher THQ Nordic and Brno-based (Czech Republic) indie games developer Ashborne Games, today announced with great happiness and excitement that their WW1 survival RTS “Last Train Home”, is now available for PC via Steam and GOG.

Legionnaires, today marks the beginning of our journey to Vladivostok. Brace yourselves to confront the merciless Red Army, to endure the gnawing pangs of hunger, and to defy the bone-chilling cold of Siberia. This odyssey is long, grueling, and full of challenges – a true test of our mettle. A heroic endeavor that leaves no room for the faint-hearted.

We must do everything in our power to keep our train rolling, for we are on the run. Ensuring ample resources and fuel is paramount to reaching our destination. Tough decisions lie ahead, and the consequences of our choices could be disastrous.

Our ultimate objective is to return home – to our newly formed Republic of Czechoslovakia. Prepare yourselves for the journey ahead, for in the face of adversity, the Legion shall rise triumphant!

This is the path we must tread, the sole route left to us.

Digital Deluxe Edition & Launch Discount
Our train is starting its journey today and offers a special discount for all passengers boarding the train during its first week: From today on until December 5th, 2023, Last Train Home will be available at a 15% discount, bringing the price down from the regular SRP of $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 to only $33.99 / €33.99 / £29.75—cheaper than most actual train tickets, we assume.

Also taking advantage of the week-long discount is the Digital Deluxe Edition. For $54.99 / €54.99 / £47.99 (minus 15% in the first week, i.e., $46.74 / €46.74 / £40.79), you will receive the first DLC of the game, the aptly named Legion Tales, upon its release. This DLC promises an immersive encounter with the Czechoslovak Legionaries through a set of exclusive replayable real-time missions. Stay tuned for more detailed DLC insights! Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes the official digital soundtrack and Last Train Home’s art book.

The Great War is over – the fighting continues. Command a legion of soldiers, desperately trying to make their way home amidst the chaos of civil war. Lead them through the unforgiving wilderness onboard an armored train. Manage your crew and resources and try to survive.
