I think it’s safe to say that the Amiga scene is very much alive and kicking. As a matter of fact, I have never seen so many new Amiga projects in my whole life (and that includes everything from games, hardware to music remixes and whole albums).

More and more people are discovering the Amiga for the very first time for each day that goes by, and a lot of them are young people (mainly gamers, fans of music and music makers).
So it came as no surprise to me that I would soon trip over on a brand-new Amiga game project yet again. Well, I was right, as AmigaWave and Jude Big Studio is working on a new point-and-click adventure Amiga game called “Hard Copy Party“.

“Hard Copy Party” made me think about old-school point-and-click adventure games like “Day of the Tentacle”, “Monkey Island”, “Sam and Max” and “Full Throttle”.
Nice indeed, but what is “Hard Copy Party” all about then? Well, here’s what’s known about the game project so far:
“Welcome to this new project in development for the Commodore Amiga, this game project is the result of a collaboration between AmigaWave and Jude Big Studio.”
“Hard Copy Party is a new Point-and click Graphic Adventure. Help the newborn group DEAD PORNSTARS to break into the DemoScene of late 80s. Code, graphics, amazing music … there is a lot work to do and the competition is about to start” – AmigaWave and Jude Big Studio

Now that I think about it, “Hard Copy Party” also made me think about movies such as “Lethal Weapon”, “Die Hard” and “Beverly Hills Cop”.
Other than that, there are currently two different videos of “Hard Copy Party” that you could watch (“new Amiga game in development” and “character anim test.”).
So you probably don’t want to miss out on those videos if you like what you’ve seen from “Hard Copy Party” up to now =) And with that said, what’s your take on “Hard Copy Party” so far?
