Bethesda knew exactly what they were doing when they released news about Fallout 4 before E3 took place. Making the fans blow with excitement and get hyped right before E3 was a smart move on their part. Going back to Fallout 1 a similar companion is announced.

Not only can you customize your character, weapons and items In Fallout 4. You will even be able to customize your armor as well.

Fallout 4 will be also bringing in a Dog companion to follow you around in the wasteland and you get to command with different tasks for example picking up a weapon for your character. Fallout 4 includes 50 base weapons and 700 mods for an insane number of combinations in their new crafting system. Fallout 4 is taking place in Boston this time also, fun fact about that is the headquarters of Vault-Tec is also located here.

We will be from Vault 111. However, there´s no news on what happened in this vault, there was an old fan fiction written about this vault being a Christmas themed vault and people went crazy and started killing each other when they discovered Santa Claus isn’t real. More than likely they aren’t going to keep that same story line, I am very excited myself when I saw the gameplay footage of the amazing and various character designing you can do to your protagonist whether being male or female and the many options to make your character look unique.

Not wanting to completely spoiler us we got a short glimpse of what the story is going to be about, pretty much starting off as a normal day and it turning into a fatal disaster when the bombs drop on the city. More lore on interesting areas scattered throughout the universe, possibly more than one companion at one time.

To make the Fallout 4 fans even more exciting, Bethesda just came out with a free mobile app as well called Fallout Shelter, almost like a Sims game you play as the overseer and run your vault as you see fit, you can explore the wasteland, give your community jobs, protect your vault from outside threats, or design your own vault rooms.

Bethesda´s “Fallout Shelter” is a F2P mobile game for iOS, where you get the chance to build and maintain your very own underground shelter.

The game is currently only available for the IOS but will be released for androids later, Apple users can download it here (It’s free). Overall, my thoughts on Fallout 4 is nothing but positivity they had perfect timing marketing this game and from the looks of the game, I already see Fallout 4 being a game of the year title.
