Video games have a habit of putting us in locations that will forever stick to our brains even as time passes. If you ask most gamers, they probably still remember the nooks and crannies, in the maps of their favorite games.

A good pro gamer usually studies the map of games, knowing exit routes and where bonuses are hidden. For some, they spend so much time playing the game that they can drive through the city with their eyes closed. Many of the cities in games are built to mimic real-life locations. Other games may create fictional towns and cities and design them to suit the nature of the game.

The architecture, and design of these locations were so appealing that some players wanted to be transported to these locations. Video Games for most players are a means of escaping reality, which is why they are emotionally attached to the game’s location. Though we may not be able to physically visit these locations, they live on in our memory, so here are 7 memorable video game locations.

Racoon City, Resident Evil

Probably a city you would never want to visit physically because of the hordes of zombies scouting its streets. It is best you probably visit it virtually through your console and PC. The hordes of zombies roaming about in the city are caused by the Umbrella Corporation. Raccoon City was just an ordinary town until the company chose the location to establish its base. Soon the deadly T-virus was released infecting the town’s inhabitants leading to a massive outbreak of bloodthirsty zombies.

Night City, Cyberbunk 2077

Night City is the game developer’s depiction of what most cities will look like in the next half a century. The city is a technology-driven metropolis with a very futuristic and artistic aesthetic. Despite being a city of the future, the developers still managed to show the gap between the rich and the poor. Players can traverse through locations filled with tall skyscrapers to slums, showcasing the lowest of the food chain. If we were to compare Night City with any location, we would probably say that is what New York would look like in the next 50 years. In Night City, players can navigate streets filled with vendors, criminals, and drug dealers, all of who are fighting to get to the top of the food chain. If you love gambling, Night City has betting shops, but it is best to carry out your betting activities in real life using your 22Bet Login.

Novigrad, The Witcher 3

The Witcher game series is based in Novigrad, a vibrant medieval city. Novigrad is a magical city with cobblestone pathways, gothic architecture, and a noisy marketplace. In Novigrad magic and dangerous creatures are lurking around in its forests, so always have your swords and your elixirs at hand.

Los Santos, Grand Theft Auto 5

The city of Los Santos in the GTA 5 video game is the city of Los Angeles brought to life. Safe to say it is a Rockstars Games parody of Los Angeles. Similar to Los Angeles, the city of Los Santos features upscale neighborhoods filled with individuals and luxurious cars. If you want to get high-end cars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis, then neighborhoods like Vinewood are the spot. Los Santos is bustling 24/7 with activities, and if you want to see the city in full-view, take a night drive.

Mushroom Kingdom, Super Mario Series

The Mushroom Kingdom is one of the most memorable locations in all of gaming. Not only gaming but also animations. Apart from being an iconic city, it is also beautiful and features a lot of beautiful colors. Mushroom is ruled by Princess Peach and is a bit medieval at first glance. However, the city is quite technologically advanced.

Kamurocho, Yakuza Series

Japan is a place everyone wants to visit, but before you make the trip enjoy the beautiful city of Kamurocho while playing the Yakuza game series. Kamurocho, inspired by Tokyo’s Kabukicho, is the heart of the Yakuza series. This heavily crowded urban district combines fun, entertainment, and the dangers of the underworld. The game takes you deep down into the operations of the Yakuza, in the city of Kamurocho. During your gameplay, take time out and explore Kamurocho. Visit its Karaoke bars, arcades, and nightclubs.

Arkham City, Batman Series

Arkham City is a location you would never want to visit, as it is filled with a lot of deranged criminals. Its grim and gothic atmosphere that strikes fear into the hearts of players makes Arkham City a location players will never forget.
