As you might remember, I (Robin Ek, TGG) wrote about Splatoon 2’s global testfire demo the other day. Well, guess what? Nintendo Sweden just informed me that the best Splatoon players in Europe will face-off in Paris on the 1st of April (Swedish to English translation):
“For six months did Europe Splatoon teams make up and now has the best passed on to the finale. On Saturday, April 1 at 14:00 is the time for Splatoon elite to make up in the grand final to be held in Paris. Besides the honor of being Europe’s best on Splatoon winners will also receive a respective Nintendo Switch, which is Nintendo’s fastest selling console ever in Europe.
Don’t miss out on the grand finale live on Nintendo of Europe’s Twitch channel. The teams that make up are:
· Extermination (Germany) – Winners of four of six monthly finals.
· BYE (Finland, UK, France) – First team to break Exterminations straight wins, when they won the finals in October.
· Rising Moon (France) – The only team to win two ESL Go4Splatoon Cups.
· Crème Fresh (France, Netherlands) – Winner of the Gamescom 2016 Splatoon Showdown
Just before the big finale viewers will also get a small “sneak peek” at the upcoming Splatoon 2. There will be an exhibition match where new tactics and techniques are revealed. Do not miss this!” – Nintendo Sweden
In other words, if you’re into “Splatoon”, then you probably don’t want to miss out on this event. So may the best “Splatoon” team in Europe win!
