Press release:
BODEN, SWEDEN – June 10, 2026
The Tragedy at Deer Creek is a dark and cinematic point-and-click adventure inspired by both classic and contemporary entries in the genre. Players take on the role of photographer Charlotte Gray as she arrives at the long-abandoned logging camp of Deer Creek to document the site for her upcoming photo book, Forgotten Frontiers.
What begins as a photographic exploration of a forgotten piece of American labor history gradually develops into a dark winter noir mystery, as Charlotte explores the camp and uncovers fragments of the lives lived there and the tragic events that ultimately led to the camp’s abandonment.
Presented from a first-person perspective, players explore Deer Creek and its surrounding wilderness while using classic point-and-click mechanics to progress the story. By collecting items, solving puzzles, and uncovering clues, they gradually unravel the camp’s hidden past.
