I’m going to be very honest and confess that I haven’t played all that many mobile games as of lately. However, to my defense, it’s mostly because I haven’t spotted any mobile games that have caught my attention all that much.

Run Again’s graphics are a mix of retro-like 2D graphics and anime-like overlays and pictures (there seem to be some anime cutscenes in the game as well).
Well, today I did see a game that caught my interest, and funny enough. The game actually found its way to me, and not the other way around.

“Run”, “Jump” and “Glide”, that’s pretty much all that you have to worry about in “Run again”. Well, that and fighting enemies and staying alive of course.
You see, Hadeul Soft (it’s a South Korean indie games studio) reached out to us (which they did this morning) and informed us that their run-and-gun 2D action/adventure game “Run Again” is out now for iOS and Android devices:
“Hi, this is an indie game company, Hadeul Soft. Let me introduce the game we made this time. The name of the game is ‘Run Again’.
It is a mobile game full of great action and made up of two episodes, the hero’s side and the princess’ side. It’s a side scroll 2D run action adventure arcade game.
The game consists of a total of 7 zones and 37 stages. You can enjoy a total of five manual controls, which are jump, slide, short distance attack, long distance attack and time stop skill.
Even though the game is in a casual format, there is a bit of difficulty. Currently, there are only a few users who cleared all the stages. So, it will be great if you use the game as a content of world’s hardest game.” – Hadeul Soft

From my point of view, “Run again” looks like a mix of “Metal Slug”, “Castlevania” and “Mega Man” (that’s a really nice combination in my book at least).
Other than that, Hadeul Soft also had us know that they uploaded a trailer for “Run Again” just recently (you can watch the said trailer further down the page).
In other words, if you want to know what “Run Again” looks like in-game, then you should check out the game’s trailer with no doubt. As for me, I’m giving “Run Again” a try on my iPhone :3
And with that said, what’s your take on “Run Again”?
