It seems like this Saturday is going to be a rather lewd day. You see, shortly after that we published our “Fallen Doll” PC preview I was informed by Toffer Team that they are going to release their +18 lewd visual novel/eroge game “Hikari! Clover Rescue” some time this year (the game is in development for PC, MAC and Android):

“Hello there 😀 As promised, here’s some info about my upcoming game + a couple of screens and social media promos. I’ll lend you guys a full copy of the game when the build is ready! – Toffer Team

Awesome! But what exactly is “Hikari! Clover Rescue” all about then? Well, here’s what Toffer Team told us:

“Hikari! Clover Rescue” is a Visual Novel/Eroge game with anime style graphics and hentai adult content being developed by the creator of the “My Neighbor is a Yandere!?” series.

– “Five girls, five amulets, two missions: Get laid and save the world. Are you up for the challenge?”

– The game is story based, the player must advance through it completing the assigned mission and taking dialog decisions.

– Clover Rescue has a dialog-based gameplay, accompanied by anime-style sprites and CGs that describes the characters feelings, thoughts and emotions. At various points through the story, the player will have to choose between two or three dialog options.

– The main objective of “Hikari! Clover Rescue” is to advance through the story, completing the assigned missions, rescuing a kidnapped girl along her Clover Amulet in each one of them to gather the necessary power to face the main antagonist at the final mission.”

As for the story aspect of “Hikari! Clover Rescue”, here’s what’s known so far:

“In a not-so distant future, a powerful organization known as The Corporation is planning to take over the world by using the power of some mysterious element amulets shaped like a clover. They have kidnapped three different girls, which are supposed to own this powerful amulets, but still, neither of them know how to use this power properly. They’re planning to experiment on the girls as much as they need until they discover the secret behind this.

To prevent this catastrophe to happen, we must take the role of Keigo, a young, lazy pilot and bounty hunter, owner of the Multiple Clover, who has been “recruited” by Kasumi, our main side-kick and guide along the adventure. She tells us that to unveil the great mystery behind these amulets and use their power in our advantage, we must rescue each girl before is too late and… Have sex with them all to activate the amulets.

Knowing this, Keigo accepts the mission and they both start trying to rescue the girls, obtain the power of the element each Clover has, and face off against The Corporation’s leader to take them out once and for all and restore peace to the world.”

That sounds rather promising I have to say, but what about the setting and character’s then? Well, worry not! Because Toffer team told us the following:

“The main setting of the game is a futuristic sci-fi style, with modern elements. Along the adventure, we’ll be aboard of the C.R.S. Spaceship, our main base. And we’ll have to rescue each girl by infiltrating The Corporation’s different buildings where they have all the girls captured.

Some of the backgrounds of the different game levels will include a spaceship, various futuristic rooms, a corporate building and the main antagonist throne room. The game will feature, aside from the player’s protagonist character, five different girls. Each one of the with an unique personality, backstory, objectives and style.

Keigo: The main protagonist, Keigo is a kind of lazy young man, which pilots a “vintage” ship for a living, doing errands and risky missions for his shady clients. He loves to spend all his earned money on women.

Kasumi: Our sidekick and main partner throughout this adventure, Kasumi is as beautiful as she’s smart. Owner of the C.R.S. ship and the Transparent Clover. Although a little shy and short-tempered at times (kinda tsundere, yeah), she doesn’t hesitate to take the lead and use all kind of smart devices to take down the dark plans of The Corporation.

Akane: Fierce and energetic, Akane is a very loyal and kind-hearted girl. Leader of her own resistance group and owner of the Blue Clover. Although she had to fight for survival from a very young age, she’s always willing to risk everything just to see her people smile.

Urara: A professional model that also discovered the shady truth behind The Corporation while working for them. Owner of the Green Clover. Urara won’t hesitate to use all her charm and sexy figure to seduce and take down the enemy.

Shizuka: The young and only heir of a very important and powerful company runned by her father. Shizuka started to notice some strange behaviors on her family when The Corporation approached them. Owner of the Red Clover. Shizuka, despite of being only 20 years old, is ready to show the world that she’s capable of not only saving her family’s company, but the world by using her attitude and power.

As mentioned before, “Clover Rescue” is a japanese anime/hentai looking game. Every character sprite will feature around 25 different face expressions, and eight different H scenes will be available as a reward each time the player completes a mission, rescuing the corresponding girl.

The game contains seven different music tracks to engage the player in each specific scene. Every character will be partially voiced in japanese too, to give the player a more personal approach to every girl personality and style.”

Well, I don’t know about you, but I like what I’ve seen and heard from “Hikari! Clover Rescue” so far. That’s also why I wish the Toffer Team the best of luck with “Hikari! Clover Rescue” =) (we should be able to play the game sometime this year for Windows, MAC, Linux and Android).
