Issaquah, WA, USA – July 1st, 2026 – Seismic Squirrel today announced that Aether & Iron has won Best Role-Playing Game at the TooManyGames Indie Game Showcase Awards 2026, recognizing the title among this year’s standout independent games.

Selected from a curated showcase of 150 juried indie games, Aether & Iron received the top honor in the Role-Playing Game category during the awards ceremony held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at TooManyGames.

The game continues to receive ongoing updates, with recent additions such as the Roadside Garage feature and additional content currently in development.

Aether & Iron is now available on Steam for Windows and MacOS, featuring full English voice acting and text localization support for English, Spanish (Spain & Latin America), French, German, Polish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese – Players can purchase Aether & Iron and try the demo today on Steam!

Set in an alternate 1930s New York transformed into a vertical city by the discovery of “aether”, a key component to newfound anti-gravitational technology, Aether & Iron follows Gia, a smuggler navigating crime syndicates, political conspiracies, and fragile alliances.
