The UK-based video games publisher UKIYO Publishing and the Germany-based indie games developer Overhype Studios, are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released the “Of Flesh and Faith” DLC for their hardcore turn-based tactical RPG “Battle Brothers” (the “Of Flesh and Faith” DLC is available right now for PC via Steam).

The DLC, out now on Steam, will be available for the console versions of the game (PlayStation, Xbox and Switch) shortly afterward.

‘Of Flesh and Faith’ introduces the Oathtakers and the Anatomists: two new origins with unique mechanics, character backgrounds, story events, special equipment and custom-tailored banners – making them the most detailed origins in Battle Brothers since this feature was implemented with ‘Warriors of the North’. It also brings many quality-of-life enhancements and balancing changes to improve the game experience

ABOUT BATTLE BROTHERS

Battle Brothers is a turn-based strategy RPG mix which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?

The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn-based combat.

Oathtakers – Follow the teachings of Young Anselm, fight for righteousness, and swear oaths that confer advantages and disadvantages until fulfilled.

Anatomists – Further your research even if they shun you for it, dissect the corpses of your fallen enemies, and devise new ways to empower your men.

New Banners – Hoist two new banners that thematically fit the new origins.

New Equipment – Dress in style with new equipment that befits your origin.

New Events – Experience more than 50 new events on your travels.
