Press release:
Paris, France – April 28th, 2026 – 5PM Studio today released MEMORIAPOLIS – BANNERS & WONDERS on PC via Steam. One year after going dark to rebuild the game from the ground up, 5PM Studio’s strategic city builder returns as a fully reworked experience.

In MEMORIAPOLIS, shape a living city across centuries, guiding its growth from Antiquity to the Industrial Revolution as districts expand organically, factions compete for influence, and alliances shift over time. MEMORIAPOLIS first found success in Early Access, generating strong sales and attracting a dedicated community drawn to its ambition. However, when the full release fell short of expectations, 5PM Studio chose to step back to rebuild MEMORIAPOLIS from the ground up.

BANNERS & WONDERS launched into an open beta that drew overwhelmingly positive feedback, with players praising the reworked faction system, the new endgame Wonder objective, and the streamlined progression. On Steam, MEMORIAPOLIS holds a Mostly Positive rating across 1,600+ reviews, with nearly 400,000 wishlists signalling sustained demand throughout the year of development.
Early players who tested the open beta are already singing the update’s praises:

“The visual improvements and zoom levels are splendid. I love looking at the city from different angles and zoom levels, it’s very contemplative.”

“The progression and growth of the city was fantastic. Love the city graphics and factions.”
