At ID@Xbox Winter Game Demo Event, French publisher NACON and the Chilean development studio ACE Team are delighted to announce the availability of a demo for “Clash: Artifacts of Chaos” on Xbox Series X|S.

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a unique action-adventure game in terms of its gameplay and art direction. Visually, there is the signature ACE Team style (Rock of Ages, The Eternal Cylinder), whose original designs range from the unusual to the flamboyant.

You play as Pseudo, an accomplished fighter who lives as a recluse. Your encounter with the Boy leads you to explore this surreal world to protect him against Gémini, the Mistress of the Artefacts, that covets the mysterious powers of this little creature.

As for the gameplay, players will get to unleash the ferocity of the main character, Pseudo, in third-person combat. From a traditional boxing stance to more original ones like the Claw, which can lacerate enemies with bare hands, there are five combat styles available in the demo. The fighting experience is enhanced with a range of special moves, which players unlock after defeating formidable creatures.

And when certain conditions have been fulfilled, players can switch to a first-person view and unleash a series of devastating blows before finishing them off with a fatal blow. This frenetic action leaves a lasting impression on gamers as well as on enemies’ bodies!

Aside from exploration and combat, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos stands out from other action-adventure games because of a unique mechanic: the Ritual. Based on a game of dice where every participant has artifacts with unique properties, the outcome of this ancient tradition defines the rules of the fight.

The demo of Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is now available on the Microsoft Store.

The final version of the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Steam and Epic the 9th of February 2023.
