To celebrate today’s launch, ININ Games has released an action-packed new launch trailer showcasing the game’s spectacular fusion of classic arcade gameplay and fully reimagined modern presentation.

Originally released in 1993, R-Type Dimensions III returns as far more than a simple remaster. The development team approached the project as a true restoration of a legendary shoot-’em-up classic. Carefully rebuilding and re-interpreting every visual, audio, and gameplay element for contemporary audiences while preserving the precise feel, pacing, and identity that made the original title unforgettable.

One of the game’s most celebrated features allows players to instantly switch between the original 1993 version and the completely reimagined 2026 presentation during gameplay with the press of a single button. Physical editions of R-Type Dimensions III will launch on August 11, 2026.
