The update includes:
Faction War – New Gameplay Feature. Capture in-game areas taken over by rival factions – The New Light, Marauders and Monsters. Visit re-captured areas to gain access to different in-game bonuses – new merchants, items, and others!
Improved Character Animation – With new movement and combat animations, exploring Granichny feels more realistic than ever before!
Enemy Improvements – New weapons and equipment are now available to enemy forces, so be careful – the island is more dangerous than ever.
Quality-of-life improvements – from small UI changes to new in-game mechanics, such as the Rest At Safezone option.
The development team has prepared a video, which describes in detail what changed and improved in DESOLATE, ever since its debut in Early Access.
DESOLATE released earlier this year in Early Access, and, with over 130 000 copies sold, remains the highest-earning game developed in Russian Federation of this year on Steam. Described by its fans as a “Hidden Horror Gem”, DESOLATE boasts a loyal community of players that has grown with ongoing updates to the game as new content and gameplay upgrades have been introduced since its Early Access launch.
To coincide with the release of the update, DESOLATE can now be purchased on Steam for 33% during this weekend.
