No, it is not a Battle Royale!
Press release:
CASTELLÓN, SPAIN – April 20th, 2017 – Yes, Battle Royale games are great, but what if you want to play something else? Well, we have good news for you. HIVE: Altenum Wars will be available on PS4 and PC on May 1st, and it’s pretty unique.
Imagine a hexagon. You are inside of it, and the gravity is different depending on the part of the hexagon you’re in. Imagine having different characters with different skills. Imagine a game that’s as easy to understand as hard to master. Now, imagine 10 players fighting for their lives and only one will be the winner. Well, stop guessing, this is HIVE: Altenum Wars.
Oh wait! If you don’t like playing against other players, we also have a survival mode for you where you fight the AI alone or together with a friend.
And this is only the beginning. The game will continue to grow over time with new characters, modes, stages, rankings, leagues, tournaments and whatever changes our community suggests. The first addition will be cross-play between PS4 and PC, and it will come shortly after launch.
Developed in Spain, HIVE: Altenum Wars started its development in 2014 and after a hard way, finally you can enjoy it as much as we do. HIVE: Altenum Wars is a 2.5D Arena Hero Shooter developed with the support of Sony Interactive Entertaiment, as one of the winners of the PlayStation Talents Award. As stated above, it will be available on PC and PS4 on May 1st for €9.99/$9.99/£7.99.
