Tampere, Finland – May 14th, 2026 – Indie developer Kimmo Lahtinen has today launched his highly acclaimed hyperkinetic twin-stick shooting masterpiece Sektori on the Switch 2 eShop for $14.99. / €14,99 / £13.49. Sektori was one of 2025’s most acclaimed games, with a MetaCritic score of 93 on PC and 89 on PS5. Now Switch 2 users can see what all the fuss is about and chase high scores on the go!

“I cut my teeth on fiercely challenging hyperkinetic arcade action games at Housemarque, which inspired me to take these skills and put my own spin on it,” said developer Kimmo Lahtinen.

Sektori mixes high-adrenaline gameplay, kaleidoscopic visuals, and hard-hitting techno music coming together to transport you into another state of consciousness! In Sektori’s Campaign Mode, you’ll brave five endlessly evolving stages that reconstitute the layout of the battlefield, the waves of foes you’ll face, and even the bosses – who can radically change based on the stage you encounter them in! Slay your foes, gather their remains, and use them to select an array of upgrades for faster speed, a stronger blaster, additional shields, a bigger boost, more missiles, or a score bonus. As you evolve your ship, you can choose additional power-ups from a series of cards – and even customize your deck of potential perks!
