18 MAY 2025 – Belgian indie developer Business Goose Studios is counting down the days to the release of its heartfelt puzzle game Swan Song, inspired by a true personal story, launching on Steam on June 4th.

After the playful scale-shifting puzzles of their indie hit Sizeable, which has sold 200K copies and is rated “Overwhelmingly Positive” (96%) after over 3000 user reviews on Steam, the team now explores a more personal and emotional direction with Swan Song.

Swan Song is a calming puzzle game set inside a mysterious music box, where you place notes on a scale to compose melodies that guide a little swan safely back to its nest. With warm visuals and a soothing soundtrack by acclaimed composer Jamal Green (known for TOEM), Swan Song blends clever puzzle design with emotional storytelling.

The music box was the creator’s final masterpiece, his “swan song”. Lovingly crafted as a tribute to his family. With every puzzle you solve, fragments of his story come to light. What happened to the family? What secrets does the box hold? Let the music lead you through a story of grief, memories & regret.

At its heart, Swan Song is grounded in reality. The story is inspired by a true personal family experience from one of the developers at Business Goose Studios. While deeply personal, the narrative has been carefully crafted to resonate with everyone who has gone through similar experiences. This is not just one person’s story, but a shared one.

About Business Goose Studios
Business Goose Studios is a Belgian indie game studio based in Hasselt, founded by three game design graduates: Sander Ambroos, Beau Vankemenade, and Jonathan Wolfs. The team is known for creating accessible, atmospheric puzzle and adventure games with emotional depth.

Their debut title Sizeable (2021) charmed players worldwide with its clever shrinking-and-growing puzzle mechanics, earning Debut Game of the Year at the Belgian Game Awards.
