3f Interactive is excited to announce that the conclusion to their narratively-driven puzzle series “Reversion” will be available on Steam February 28. Reversion – The Return is the third chapter in the series which depicts a ruined Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the year 2035.

Following the story of Christian, players in Reversion are led through a series of hand-drawn scenes and must fit together clues and unravel riddles which hold the key to Christian’s past along with how to restore the city to its former luster.

With the city under the command of a paramilitary group led by the diabolical Sergio, players will have to act the sleuth in order to find out more about Sergio’s regime and how it came into power.

As the concluding chapter to the series, Reversion – The Return picks up from previous chapters while also remaining its own standalone story for players to enjoy. Having traveled through a wormhole to the year 2035 Christian has suffered heavy memory loss, players must rely on clues scattered throughout the city to help Christian deduce friend from foe as well as how he managed to travel through time.
For those skilled sleuths, Reversion provides hours of game time as well as challenging puzzles including mathematical formulas.

Puzzles are presented to players via interaction with various environmental objects as well as symbols strewn throughout the city.

Interacting with the city’s inhabitants will also help players to uncover Christian’s truth. Players will have a variety of dialogue options when speaking with other characters which may help to lead them in the right direction as well as deduce if the character is part of Sergio’s regime or perhaps a supporter of The Resistance.

Reversion can also offer players a more casual experience through the use of the hint system. For those players stumped by a puzzle or where Christian should explore next the game’s hint system will provide helpful information to aid players in deciphering the game’s riddles.

Whether players choose to sleuth on their own or use the game’s hint system they’ll venture through a hand-drawn narratively driven story accompanied by a stylish soundtrack which takes inspiration from the traditional Argentinian tango.

Players will be able to put on their puzzle-solving caps this month as Reversion – The Return will be arriving on Steam February 28th.
