Press release:
Valencia, May 4th, 2023.
The Spain-based indie games developers Chibig (Valencia), Talpa Games (Barcelona), and Undercoders (Barcelona), today announced with great excitement and joy that they have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for their action-packed adventure “Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara”.

Furthermore! Undercoders, Talpa Games, and Chibig have also just announced that they have released a brand-new trailer for “Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara”. So be sure to check that trailer out! (you can watch the said trailer further down the page)

“Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara” continues the adventures of Koa and Napopo after Summer in Mara in the guise of a tropical 3D platformer. We will have to chase a group of mischievous pirates through 8 different worlds to recover a stolen treasure and restore peace and tranquility to the inhabitants of Mara.

The new trailer picks up the essence of classic platformers and cartoon series of the late 90’s to show how the 3 studios have been inspired to create this colorful bet to the genre for all audiences.

This Kickstarter campaign focuses on the physical edition of the game for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, for which it has joined forces with Tesura Games, and also on a figure of Koa, the protagonist of the game, for fans of collectibles and the universe of Summer in Mara.

The game will be released this summer for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox X; physical editions will be available in autumn 2023.

About Chibig
Chibig makes cozy and cute games for everyone, combining relaxing adventures settled in fantastical worlds full of wonder. More charming and compelling tales are about to be discovered with the upcoming projects of the studio: Ankora: Lost Days, Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain and Elusive People.
