We at Awesome Games Studio are extremely proud to announce that our combo-driven roguelite platformer “Fury Unleashed” finally gets a release date! After over five years of full-time development, and including three years in Early Access, it is due to launch fully on May 8 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

For that occasion, we present a new trailer that highlights the huge evolution Fury Unleashed went through over the 5 years – from the very early prototype back in 2015, to what is currently available on Steam Early Access and rated 89% positive by our players.

Fury Unleashed combines design elements of modern roguelites (like Dead Cells and Rogue Legacy) with aesthetics and gameplay of classic platformer shooters (like Metal Slug and Contra). All that is built around the concept of playing through the pages of a comic book and telling the story of its author.

Last but not least, there are free demo versions available today on Steam, Xbox One, and European digital stores of PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

The American PlayStation 4 demo version is coming on March 31, and for the American Switch demo version, it will be available on April 9. Demo contains nearly the entire content of the first of three comic books included in the full game, and character progression made in the demo seamlessly transfers to the full version.
