Video game publisher PQube and indie games developer Stone Lantern Games are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released a PC prologue (“Evergate: Ki’s Awakening”) for their mythical 2D platformer “Evergate“, and the said prologue is available right now all for free via Steam.

Learn about the enchanting story of spirit Ki in seven levels hand-picked by the developers and from different points throughout the 2D puzzle platformer.

‘This way, players can try out the unique align-to-shoot mechanic, plenty of customisation options and more, which make it clear why Evergate is critically acclaimed and an Xbox Series X Launch Title!

The full game is currently available for PC on Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Take control of Evergate’s unique align-to-shoot mechanic, the Soulflame, and help the child-like soul “Ki” navigate the hauntingly beautiful afterlife in challenging stages. Aim and fire the Soulflame at crystals dotted around each environment. Harness their extraordinary powers to progress through the game and unravel the mysterious connection between two kindred spirits.
