Press release:
The France-based video game publisher and indie games developer Shiro Games, today announced with great delight and thrill that they have just released the “The Clan of the Rat” update for their Viking strategy game “Northgard” (the “Clan of the Rat” update is available right now for PC via Steam and GOG).
Ruled by the ruthless War Maiden Eir, the clan and its shamans find honor and fulfillment through laborious and unrelenting work. If one has the energy to celebrate, one could and should have worked harder.
Train shaman who fight fearlessly and mercilessly on the battlefield while healing fallen allies in between attacks.
Begin with an abundance of wounded villagers, and convert them into loyal troops through taboo and mystical arts. Injured soldiers and lowly outcasts discover brotherhood in the Rat Clan with forbidden magic protecting them at the cost of their undying devotion.
Construct shaman camps in place of healer huts to train fresh recruits and rejuvenate allies. Cremate fallen enemies to produce lore, attract newcomers, and grow the clan’s legacy for centuries to come.
The Clan of the Rat Update is now available to download for free in Northgard on PC via Steam. For more information about Northgard, please visit the official website.
