Press release:
DALLAS — May 30, 2019 — “Winter Fury: Longest Road“, the VR tank action and first-person shooter from former Activision and THQ veteran developers at SpiderMonk Entertainment and publisher 10th Reality, blasts its way onto Steam Early Access on Vive and Oculus Rift today.

The Germans are mounting a Blitzkrieg on the Allied war front as it advances into rural Germany.

Survive in enemy territory with a classified, experimental M-4 Sherman tank as its battle-hardened commander. Push back the line with American steel and devastating destructive power.

Rip open enemy bases with cannon shells or dish out .50 caliber machine gun fire on anything standing in the way. Pilot the tank from a third-person perspective or open the hatch to enter first-person gun battles.

Take to the field and wield everything from pistols, rifles and machine guns to a deadly sniper rifle.

Zoom in with the sniper rifle and the UI changes so the whole headset becomes the sights, making accurate aiming intuitive and interactive. With heavy machine guns, grenades and more unlockable weapons even heavily armored bosses will not stand a chance.

Tiger tanks, weaponized steam trains, and Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter planes promise explosive and challenging battles.

The Germans will do anything to stop the Allies’ advance, including deploying destroyers down the coast. Experience brutal cannon fire and destructive close-quarters combat up close and personal in action-packed missions.

“VR is the perfect platform for epic WW2 tank action,” said Scott March, founder of SpiderMonk Entertainment.

“There are deadly enemies waiting to take out the Sherman tank, but they aren’t prepared to deal with the destructive force of the Allies’ latest weapon.”

Winter Fury: Longest Road is available in English on Steam Early Access for $19.99 today and will be compatible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
